We will be creating a beautiful large vase of seasonal flowers, learning how to choose flowers to display and how to place them within the arrangement for maximum effect.  I will be giving you tips on how to recreate at home with a mixture of flowers from your garden, foraged from the hedgerows, and picked up at the supermarket or local florist. 

We will also discuss conditioning flowers and how best to care for them in your home.

A seasonal spring wreath workshop for Easter, made on a moss base with fresh cut flowers and seasonal foliage with spring bulbs that will grow and flower over the proceeding weeks.
A quick demonstration from myself is followed by you getting creative with all the gorgeous flowers and bulbs to create a living seasonal wreath.

British tulips are on another scale to those short stemmed cheap and cheerful blooms from the supermarket. At this workshop you get to play with an abundance of the most glorious tulips and Icelandic poppies, in all shades and varieties. 

We will create a Dutch Masters style arrangement in a footed bowl that is yours to take home keep.

This is such a useful skill to learn, as once you have mastered it, you will be able to create beautiful bouquets for all your friends and family. We will discuss flowers, sourcing, conditioning, wrapping and aftercare. You will leave with a beautiful professionally wrapped bouquet.

The flower fields are full swing, and we are going to take advantage of this by getting creative with British flowers. We will be making numerous little flower puffs including bud vases, bowl arrangements and ikebana style arrangements to put together on one beautifully decorated table complete with candles and, fruity accessories. You will take home flowers and candles for your own table at home.

Dahlias are fast becoming the most popular flower here is Britain, readily available from late summer through to the first frost. At this workshop you will be given a lovely bucket of hand selected blooms in all varieties to play with. We will create a beautiful bowl arrangement, which is yours to take home and keep.

Autumn is the showiest season with the leaves giving their most majestic vibes. We will be capturing this splendour in our wreaths, using all the season’s bounty from the hedgerows, cutting garden, and plenty of beautiful dried English flowers from local growers.
Wreaths will be made on a sustainable moss base and will last right up until you swap it for your Christmas wreath - or longer if you wish!
Autumn wreaths will last for months, due to the ingredients we use and dry out beautifully, so are ideal to bring inside and place on a wall to continue to enjoy.

We will flower these using lots of textural and scented foliage, and plenty of interesting ingredients chosen for their ability to last the festive season, and a scattering of fresh flowers such as paperwhites and ranunculus. 

£120pp to include festive treats, mulled wine, all flowers, foliage, materials and trays.
