The Wessex Flower Company can offer recreational or professional learning, corporate, team-building and bespoke workshops.
I love passing on my knowledge, craft and and passion to others seeking a new experience or to those furthering their own floral development.

If you are a florist looking to refine or perfect a certain skill set, I can tailor half or full-days of one to one tuition, to suit your requirements. You decide what you would like to cover, whether that is intricate wiring of the most delicate kind, or the creation of a wild and oversized artistic design installation. 

Looking for something different for a team building, or corporate hospitality day? I can tailor a workshop to suit your budget and requirements.

For those looking to learn for enjoyment, I offer tuition to individuals or small groups.  You may choose to learn how to dress your mantlepiece or table for a special event or how to create a hand-tied gift bouquet, mastering those spiral stems.

Christmas at the Wessex Flower Company

During the lead up to Christmas, the Wessex Flower Company HQ is knee deep in beautifully curated ingredients, ready for the seasonal workshops ahead. 

You are invited to create your own unique Christmas wreath under my friendly and laid back guidance. After a brief demonstration, teaching the tips and tricks of mastering an eco-friendly moss based wreath, you will be let loose to pick your ingredients and get creative.   

A variety of scented seasonal foliage, dried and fresh flowers, grasses, seed pods and heads will be conditioned and ready to use. Luxurious velvet ribbons, baskets of fruit and spices and foraged finds will all be available for you to contemplate and pick from to ensure your wreath is the envy of your neighbours!

The Luxury Christmas Wreath Workshop

The luxury wreath workshops are £75.00 per person. This includes foliage carefully selected from British growers for their scent, texture and form, seed-heads, berries, thistles, feathers, fresh and dried flowers, dried fruits and luxury velvet ribbons. Wreaths are made using a traditional moss and wire bound method.

The Forager Christmas Wreath Workshop

The forager wreath is £55.00 per person and consists of a moss base with seasonal foraged foliage such as ivy, spruce, firs and holly with berries, pinecones, festive fruit and spices, finished off with a luxury velvet ribbon. 

This workshop can be booked as a private party for 10 attendees or more and at venue of your choosing. This is particularly popular for corporate events, school fundraisers, or just a gathering of friends.

A minimum of 6 people are required for a luxury wreath workshop and ten people for the forager workshop.
