A church ceremony within the estate, styled with whimsical, romantic summer florals was how Francesca envisaged marrying Steffan back on the cold winter’s day in February when we first met.

The couple made a unique and memorable entrance to Avington Park by boat, arriving after their guests, who enjoyed drinks on the immaculate lawn against the grandeur of the house.

An elegant reception was held in the orangery with tables styled with footed bowls of delicate flowers and fabulous mint green napkins and taper candles to really elevate the fresh, yet sophisticated aesthetic of the day.

Seasonal flowers included cosmos, roses, phlox, astrantia, scabiosa, nigella, cornflowers, delphinium and sweet peas. Every detail contributed to a wedding that was as elegant as it’s surroundings.
