ETHEREAL MARQUEE AT HIGHCLERE CASTLE

With the bride often abroad for work, I collaborated closely with her mother to create a wedding that was both magical and ethereal. The design was inspired by a brief for a wild, natural, and whimsical look, using locally sourced British flowers to reflect the stunning landscape and majestic backdrop of the castle.

The floral palette was soft and delicate, featuring ivory and pale pinks, complemented by scented and textural foliage to enhance the romantic, organic feel.

For this mid-July wedding, we worked with a beautiful selection of seasonal blooms, including cosmos, scabiosa, ammi, garden roses, delphiniums, larkspur, honeysuckle, jasmine, malope, sweet peas, corncockles, and phlox. These flowers came together to create a truly enchanting atmosphere for the day.
